First Robotic Tattooist
An Austrian electrician has invented the world's first tattooing robot which he calls freddy. Niki Passath, 25, showed off his creation for the first time in Vienna
Passath says: "It was a hard job because the only person I could test it on was myself which was painful but a good incentive to get it right as soon as possible."
Freddy's computer brain etches a permanent design onto the body of the volunteer and it is understandable if one is a little weary of this.
Walter Franzl who had a tattoo on his back said: "It's not my first tattoo but it was really not painful at all, I'd come back and it's good to know my design is unique."
