*Tre POV*
"Autumn, have you seen my beach towel?" I ask as I am running around mine and Aj's house looking for it.
"Now girl why would I know where it is? Fred and I just got here last night" Autumn tells me laughing at me.
I just roll my eyes and stick my tongue out at her.
"Hey girls are you about ready?" Aj asks walking in from the back yard.
"No honey we're not. I can't find my towel" I tell him in a whiney voice.
He looks at me and smiles and then walks over to me "Awww can't my baby find her favwet towel?" He teases me.
I push him away "Oh shut up" I tell him and walk away while him and Autumn are laughing at me
*Autumn POV*
I look over at AJ. "I know I'm ready. I went out last night after hearing the word "beach" and got me a towel."
AJ and I hear Tre screaming profanity as she looks for her towel. Fred walks in and hears Tre.
"Whoa, McLean. Calm your girl down!"
Fred looks over at me. I'm standing there in my two piece and Fred gives me this look. "Hell, you and I might have to just stay here."
AJ slides his shades down. "Oh no! You two are going with us."
I laugh. "Let me go get something to put over this." Right about then we hear Tre screaming.
"HA! I FOUND IT!!!"
*Tre POV*
Since I found my towel, I decided it was about time I put my swimsuit on. I go to pick one out and decide on a black two piece, of course, AJ picked it out one day when were shopping. I put a t-shirt over it and walk down stairs
"Ok, guys, I'm ready" I tell them and they all turn and look at me
"'bout damn time" Aj says to me and I punch him in the arm
"Wouldn't of taken so long if a certain someone wouldn't of stuck the towel where it didn't belong" I tell him as I walk over to grab my discman and headphones
"Hey like I knew it didn't belong behind the winter clothes" He tells me.
"Winter clothes?" Fred asks giving Aj a strange look.
"Yea Fred according to Alex any time you have to wear jeans in FL, winter has definitely hit" I tell him
"Hey, I hate wearing jeans" Aj whines
"Baby, you just plain hate wearing clothes" I tell him giving him a kiss
"Yea well..you know" Aj says smiling
"Ok, a visual I just didn't need so early in the morning" Autumn yells walking out to the car.
"Ooops sorry Autumn" I tell her with a smirk on my face
"Oh yea I see how sorry you are, Tre" She says from the car.
"Yes it came from somewhere deep with in" I tell her
"Yea deep within bullshitville" Fred says from behind me and Aj cracks up.
We are all loaded in the car and finally take off to the beach.
"Hey Aj, we gonna take your jet skies out today?" Fred asks.
"Oh hell yeah, can't go to the beach without my harleys" Aj tells him and I laugh at him.
Fred looks at me and then Aj again "Harleys?"
*Autumn POV*
"Whoa! Aj has Harley's? Why wasn't I told? And jusy why do you want to take them to the beach?" I look at Fred, confused.
AJ and Tre laugh. "Oh no! Autumn's having a Nick moment!" Tre says.
"Nick moment?" Fred ask.
"It's spreading," AJ says grinning. He then goes on to tell us what the Harley's are. "Well, that makes sense," I say as Fred nods.
"Yeah these are my harley's" AJ says patting the skis.
"Okay, can we go now?" I ask.
"Yeah McLean. let's get rollin. Gotta look for some girls," Fred says grinning.
I look at Tre and we smile. "Well, while you two look for girls Autumn and I'll be looking for some really hot guys." Tre tells them
*Tre POV*
We drop the skies at the dock and then Aj takes the SUV and parks it. While he was doing that the 3 of us found a good place to relax and layout.
"Ok, so what do you girls wanna do first?" Fred asks us.
"Well since it's been a while since you guys have been here, we thought we would sit and talk about stuff for a while" I tell him.
"Oh"
He says and Autumn and I laugh. Aj comes back and sits down next to me
"Ok, what's on the agenda?" He asks us. I laugh.
"Ask Fred, we already explained it to him" Autumn tells him.
"Umm, ok. Fred?" Aj asks looking up at him
"I guess the girls are gonna sit and chat for a while. Hey, I got an idea, lets take the 'harleys' out for a run." Fred says to Aj.
"Sounds like a plan to me" Aj says moving over to give me a kiss so he can take off
"You be careful Aj, the last time you took off on one of them things you practically ran poor Nicky over" I tell him and he laughs
"HEY not my fault he got in the way. That boy is so blonde sometimes. You tell him to move out of the way and he just sits there staring at you"
"Aj you didn't tell him to move you told him to 'stay right there while you give him a mohawk' there's a difference" I tell him and everyone laughs.
Aj looks at me innocently "there is?" I push him and he stands back up "Ok ok, we're going. No need to get pushy now"
Fred walks over and gives Autumn a kiss and she tells him to be careful. The boys walk off and we look at each other
"Think we should watch this?" Autumn asks me
"Oh yea. them two on jet skies. The poor unsuspecting swimmers don't know what's coming" I tell her and we laugh and get up and follow the boys
*Autumn POV*
We stand and watch them as they rev up the Skis. I have to laugh because it's like they are trying to show off, acting like bad asses. The guys take off and just have fun. Fun as in scaring some of the swimmers and chasing each other.
"Man that looks like fun!" I tell Trelyn.
"Maybe we should tell the guys to take us for a spin on them."
"Yeah, but let them have some fun first. We can talk."
We sit in silence for a few minutes and laugh at the guys. I hate breaking the ice in conversations. I try thinking of something.
"Hey, you talked to Leigh Ann lately?" Man, I shouldn't have said anything cause Tre shoots me this evil look. "My bad."
Tre laughs. "It's okay."
Someone comes by us with a radio blasting N Sync.
"Ewww," we both say and then start making fun of N Sync.
*Tre POV*
"Justin reminds me of something" I tell her.
"Oh really, what?" Autumn asks while laughing at the guys
"A troll" I tell her and she laughs
"A troll?"
"Yea. I mean he's got the hair, remember the troll dolls? Well when he's doing the fro thing his hair reminds me of them. And he's as ugly as one" I tell her.
"Yes that is true. That boy is one ugly person"
"What's up with j.c's hair lately?" I ask Autumn.
"I have no idea but it looks like he got lost in a wind tunnel" she tells me and we crack up laughing.
We both get quiet again "So Autumn. what's been up lately?" I ask her.
"Nothing much really. Fred looking for a new guitarist."
"Man that has to bite"
"Yea it does" she tells me. She turns and looks at me again "So, have you talked to Leigh lately?"
I groan at the mention of her name "You mean, I'm perfect, unlike any of you low lives? Oh yea I've talked to her" She laughs at the tone of my voice.
"What does Aj think of how you feel about her?"
I smile "He doesn't care. He thinks she's a pain. At our wedding we are having the color of the rainbow for my brides maid dresses and I'm sticking her with the yellow one" I tell her
"The yellow one? She'll look like a banana." She tells me
"Yes....I know" I say grinning from ear to ear.
She turns and looks at me and sees the smile and laughs
"You are mean girl"
"Yes, well I can't help it. You're gonna be in pink" I tell her wondering if she realizes what I'm talking about.
"Pink?" She asks looking at me.
"Yes pink...for your brides maid dress"
I tell her slowly wondering if it's gonna register that Aj finally asked me to marry him
*Autumn POV*
" I hate pink! Why couldn't I wear something like blue?" I catch myself. "Wait a minute...you are talking about marriage. Oh my!! Did AJ ask you to marry him??" Tre nods. "Congrads girl. That is so cool!" I give her a hug.
"Thanks. SO you are coming?"
I grin. "I wouldn't miss it. Besides, maybe King Kong will show up."
Tre laughs at that and the guys come back up.
"And I say that guy was asking to get ran over. I motioned for him to move like 12 times," AJ says.
Fred looks over at me and Tre. "So did you girls enjoy your chat?"
"Yes," I say. "Hey, will you guys take us for a spin?"
"We sure will," Aj says. Then he looks at me. "But you have to ride with Fred,"
"You think?"
"Daily," he says.
"And the world gets scared," Fred says kidding.
We all head to the skis. I might tell Fred later about AJ and Tre getting married. Right now, I want some fun.
*Tre POV*
Autumn and I get on the back of the skis with our men and they take off acting more crazy then they did without us on them....figures.
"AHHH Alexander watch it!" I yell as he passes a little too close to a boat.
"Aww come on baby I wasn't gonna hit him" He says laughing.
"FRED!" I hear Autumn yell as he does a 360 in the water.
We are yelling and screaming but having a blast. They stop the ski's side by side and look at each other
"First one to the dock and back here has to buy McDonalds" Aj says to Fred.
"McDonalds?" Fred asks.
"Of course" Aj replies and I roll my eyes.
"Why do I have a feeling we're in trouble Autumn?" I ask her.
"Cause we are riding on the back of jet skis with Aj and Freeedddddd" she yells as Fred and Aj take off in their race.
I'm holding on for dear life but loving it. I look over at Autumn and she's doing the same thing. We're both laughing and cheering our men on having a blast.
"YEAH!!" Fred yells as he crosses the 'finish line' first.
"Damn" Aj mumbles
"Well McLean seems you buy the food" Fred says slapping him on the shoulder
"Yea yea but it's still McDonalds. I won't buy anything else!" he says whining.
I start laughing and roll my eyes.
"Ok, lets get these things back to the dock so we can go get that food" Fred says. We head back to the dock and park the skis. "Why don't you girls stay here while we go get the food" Fred says to us.
"Ok, sounds good to me. What do you think Tre?" Autumn asks me.
"Sure no problem."
Aj kisses me bye and Fred does the same to Autumn and they walk to the SUV. Autumn and I head over to the towels and sit down. We are quiet but both eyeing the jet skis. I turn to Autumn and she looks at me and we both smile.
"Should we?" I ask
*Autumn POV*
"What kind of question is that?" I say as I look at Tre. She puts her head down in shame. "Hell yeah!" Tre looks up and smiles. We go over and get on them. "Tre?"
"Yeah Autumn?"
"How exactly do you drive this?" Tre tells me and I say okay. Seems easy enough. I start it up and take off but the thing wants to control me. "AHHHHH!!! HELP TRE!!!"
She comes over and helps me and after awhile I get the hang of it. We ride around, maybe more dangerous than AJ and Fred had been. We each race each other and end up making a tie. We stop and laugh and hear two guys behind us.
"So you two think you are good?
*Tre POV*
We turn around and see 2 nice looking guys behind us on jet skis. I look at Autumn and she looks at me and we smile
"Good enough" she tells him.
"Good enough for what?" The dark haired one asks her.
"Good enough to beat your asses'" I tell him.
The blonde one turns and looks at me and laughs "You think so huh beautiful?"
I roll my eyes and Autumn makes gagging sounds "Darlin' I know so" I tell him and smile.
"So do the two beautiful women want to race us?" the dark haired on asked while looking at Autumn.
"Sure, if you don't mind getting beat by two girls" she says to him.
"Ha, we'll see about that. Now we have to think of what the winner will get" the blonde one says to us.
"Well...I don't know about that. What do you think, Autumn, what should the winner get?" I ask her.
*Autumn POV*
I am reminding myself that I'm in love with Fred. 'Um, how about if we win we get $100 each. And you guys can have whatever you want if you win."
The two guys look at each other. "Okay, if we win we get dates with you two lovely ladies."
"Okay, deal." I say. As the guys turn, Tre gives me a look.
"Damn it Autumn. We can't date them and you aren't that damn good with the ski."
"Tre, relax. We can take it."
"But if we do lose and the guys find out, it's your fault."
"Tre, the guys won't find out. I promise you they won't. I'll just tell AJ I dragged you into it and I'll take the hellraising from both AJ and Fred."
"Oh, all right."
*Tre POV*
We all 4 get into position to race and I look over at Autumn and whisper
"Remember, if we lose you get to explain it to my FIANCEE"
She rolls her eyes at me and one of the guys counts down.
"GO!" he yells and we take off.
They are in the lead at first but then, since learning how to drive one of these things from AJ, I rudely come between them and get ahead. Autumn follows my lead and now we are both in front
"What the hell?" we hear one of them say.
We get to the turn point and we turn and head back. I decide to be a real witch and head straight for the blonde one. I know he thinks I'm gonna move, but I don't. He freaks and moves out of the way. He moves out of the way to fast and falls off. I turn around and look and start laughing. I look over to Autumn and see her cutting real close to the dark haried guy. He freaks a little but doesn't fall off and gets to the turning point. He turns around but forgets his buddy is in the water and notices to late when he sees him trying to get back on his jet ski.
"HOLY SHIT!" he yells and veers to miss him.
He goes to far and almost loses it. Autumn takes full advantage of the situation and slows down. He catches up and looks at her with a smile and the she takes off real fast and cuts in front of him, really close. He is in shock and turns fast and ends up in the water like his friend. We get to the finish line and turn our jet skis around to face the guys.
*Autumn POV*
"I told you we could beat your asses!" Tre says.
"Um, Tre, you didn't say it like that," I say.
"Autumn shut up."
I look at the guys. "To quote my favorite movie line...Show me the money!"
Tre starts laughing and the guys jump off the skis and go get the money. They start blaming each other for their loss and come back with our money.
"Thank you gentleman," I say as I look at my money and kiss it. Tre laughs. "Well now we are in the clear," I tell Tre as I go to high five her and she returns it.
"Oh fudge! Autumn we have to get off these before the guys come back!"
I make a face and we take the skis back and just as we think we have got away with it we turn around and see the guys.
*Tre POV*
"And exactly what are you two up to?" Fred asks us when we turn around
"Oh ummm well nothing" I say to them.
"Oh now that was believable" Autumn says to me and I slap her arm "Ouch. Why'd you do that?"
"Cause you are supposed to be helping and a smart ass comment isn't helping" I tell her
"Well if you would of come up with something better then 'ohh well umm' I wouldn't of had to come up with a smart ass comment" she tells me
"Oh well I sure didn't hear you coming up with anything"
"Hey I was thinking you didn't give me time" she says to me
"Well we didn't have THAT kind of time, Autumn" I tell her
"Oh now th.."
"ALRIGHT!" Aj yells and we shut up and look at him. "What were you guys doing?" He asks looking at me
"Nothing" We both say together and then look at each other and laugh. The boys roll their eyes
"We know you were up to something. You look too guilty to of been doing nothing" Fred says to us.
"Hey ladies maybe we can race again and we can win them dates with you" The two guys we had raced said to us while walking by.
We didn't answer but stood there staring at them and then each other
"I told you not to say that" I said to Autumn
"Oh like I knew they were gonna open their mouths" she says to me
"Well if you didn't make that bet with them"
"Well I sure didn't see you fighting too hard against it" she tells me
"Oh like I had a chance there you had already said it"
"HEY STOP IT" Fred yells. We look at them "What did them two punks mean by that Autumn?" He asks her
"Tre?" Aj asks me.
"Well ummm....seeee we uhhh"
*Autumn POV*
"Autumn a little help here?"
"OH now you want my help. Sorry I don't have that type of time Tre."
"Oh bite me Autumn."
"No YOU bite me!"
"Maybe I will do just..."
Fred interrupts us. "Willl you both shut the fuck up? Now tell us what is going on. Don't lie either."
"Yeah tell us right now," AJ said.
So we told the guys about the bet. When I got to the date part, AJ shot a look at Tre.
"And you went along?"
"Well, uh.."
"AJ, she was against it. It was my idea so if hell is raised, raise it towards me."
"Okay and what exactly did you two win and Autumn you better not say phone numbers or dates," Fred said while looking at me.
"No, we got better. We got money."
Aj and Fred looked at each other.
"I don't think they are buying it Autumn," Tre said.
"Well I wasn't selling it."
"Oh you and your smart ass comments."
"Oh shut up Trelyn. I don't see you helping out."
"Well, maybe if you let me get a word or two in."
"Well, any other time you would butt in."
"I do not butt in."
"Yes you do."
"Girls, stop it!" AJ yelled at us.
We shut up immediately.
*Tre POV*
We are looking at the boys "I want to see the money" Fred says to Autumn.
"Yea so do I and then we are going to talk about why my fiancee is telling guys she's gonna go out on a date with them" Aj says to me.
I look over at Autumn and glare at her
"What?" She ask
"OH what..yea now it's just what? don't act innocent Autumn" I tell her
"It's not an act" she tells me and I laugh
"Oh please. remember been friends a long time"
"Yea and what's that supposed to mean?"
"Oh GIRLS" Fred yells and we look at him. "Money...NOW" he says.
We get the money and hand it to the boys
"Wow, you did win money" Aj says looking at me
"Told ya" Autumn says.
"I know you told me. Ok, what was up with the two of you saying you'd go out with them? Ajs asks Autumn, but looking at me
"Baby, it was her idea" I tell him
"Yes but you went along with it" He says to me
"Oh Aj knock it off. I told you she was against it" Autumn reminds him.
"Yes she went against it...but what in the world made you say it?" Fred asks her.
"Oh well I uhh see Fred, umm"
"We were trying to come up with a bet, Fred. It was the first thing that came to mind" I told him.
Autumn looks over at me and I stick my tongue out at her
"Oh yea..that's mature" she says to me
"Stop!" Fred says and we look down again.
"Aj, I wouldn't of went out with them, really honest. I'm engaged to you and don't want anyone else" I tell him hoping he'll let it go.
"Yea, well I'll have to think about it" He says and walks off.
"Crap" I mumble and follow him.
"Fred, you know I wouldn't go out with them. They aren't dangerous enough for me" she tells him and he laughs.
"Well that's true. I can tell by just looking at them" He says and gives her a kiss. "But you pull anything like that again, I'll have to whoop you" He tells her and slaps her on her butt.
"OUCH!" she yells and he laughs.
*Autumn POV*
I watch as Tre goes after AJ. I sigh.
"Great. I think I have already went and messed up their relationship." Fred puts an arm around me.
"Nah. AJ knows that Tre wouldn't do that to him. Besides, you dragged her into it."
"I admit I did and I said that if he was mad at anyone it should be me. Maybe we should go after them?"
"Autumn, why don't you let them work it out? If I know McLean like I do, he won't hold it against her."
"Really?"
"Yeah. He'll hold it against you and he will have to pick on you just to get back at you."
"NOOOO!" I scream and Fred laughs.
He then looks at the skis. "You know, maybe you and I should race and make a bet. If I win, you have to do whatever I want you to tonight."
I roll my eyes. "Okay. And if I win...you have to give me $100. OH and watch Gone With the Wind with me."
"Oh now you are wanting to bet. Okay, it's a deal then. But I'm not showing you any mercy."
We head toward the skis and I hope and pray that AJ and Tre make up. If they don't I'll hate myself forever for making the stupid bet.
*Tre POV*
I catch up to Aj and grab his arm "Baby?" I say to him and he stops and turns and looks at me "You know I woudn't of went out with them, don't you?" I ask him.
I've never seen him act like this, usually it's me being afraid of losing him to some chick while he's on the road.
"I would like to think that, Tre." He tells me and sits down on the sand
"It's true, Aj" I tell him getting worried that he really doesn't trust me.
I see Fred and Autumn take off on the jet skis and I laugh. Aj looks up when he hears me and looks out at them too
"Autumn's pretty good at that" He says to me.
I look over at him "Yep, she learned from the best" I tell him
"Oh yea and who would that be?" He asks me
"Well DUH, me freak boy" I say to him and smile
"Freak boy?"
"Yep"
"Oh I'll give you your freak boy" He says to me and grabs me by the arm and pulls me into his lap
"I would never do that to you Aj" I tell him
"I know baby. You sure did look sexy out there racing them" He tells me and then goes to kiss me
"Wait a minute" I say and pull away from him. "How do you know what I looked like?" I ask him
He smiles and pulls me back to him "We watched you guys. You two were really good out there" He tells me smiling
"You watched us? You mean you knew the whole time what was going on?" I ask him.
He laughs at me "Of course we did. Who do you think they got the $100 from?" He asks me.
"AJ!" I yell at him and get up.
"What?" He asks me.
"You better start running now freak boy or I'm gonna hurt you. I can't believe you made me feel like crap when you knew all along what was going on" I tell him walking towards him.
"Well baby, I had to. You looked really adorable trying to convince me you would never do something I already knew you wouldn't" he says to me.
"Aj"
"Yea baby?"
"Run now"
I tell him and he takes off down the beach toward Autumn and Fred
*Autumn POV*
"Damn, DAMN DAMN DAMN!" Fred is saying.
I smile as he hands me my money. "Oh and Fred? You can NOT leave this time no matter who calls. You are sitting through the movie."
"You cheated. Holding your leg out like you did."
"No, I didn't cheat. I played on a weakness like you did me."
"Oh I did not."
"Yes you did!"
We are getting off the skis when suddenly AJ runs behind Fred.
"Fred, hide me."
Uh-oh I think.
Tre comes running towards us. "Autumn! Guess what I found out."
"What?"
"Uh-oh. You told he didn't you McLean?" Fred says.
"Tell her what?"
"Autumn, the guys watched us the whole time and AJ even gave those guys the money." I turned around and looked at AJ.
"He did huh?"
"Busted!" Fred said.
"Hey, Fred was in on it too. it was his idea to watch and he even gave one of those guys money."
I looked at Tre then back at the guys. I took Fred's hat off his head and started hitting not only him but AJ with it.
"And this is from Trelyn!"
"You go girl! Get some hits in for me!"
I finally stopped and looked over at Tre. "You up to watching a movie tonight?"
*Tre POV*
"Yea, what movie?" I ask her as we walk away from the boys.
"Man you are so weak, why did you have to tell her?" we hear Fred ask Aj
"Well dang dude I was making her feel so bad I couldn't continue with it" Aj tells him
"Yea but man still why'd you have to get me in trouble"
"You think I want the wrath of Autumn and Tre to come down on me alone? HELL NO, you get some of it too" Aj tells him.
Autumn and I smile and I ask her again "What movie?"
"Oh gone with the wind" She tells me.
I smile "I take it Fred lost" I say to her.
She smiles and laughs "You know it"
"You go girly" I say to her and we high five.
"HA you lost to your girl and you call me weak" AJ yells at Fred
"Hey now she cheated"
"Yea sure she did" AJ says to him
"She did. She stuck her leg out and she knows I love her legs"
"Oh yea your weak. I don't think you need to be calling anyone weak, Durst" Aj says to him
"I think you need to shut up, McLean" Fred tells Aj.
We are picking up the beach stuff we brought and listening to the boys argue
"Ok, boys. That's enough" Autumn tells them.
"Really. You are acting like 2 little boys" I say to them and laugh.
Aj and Fred both stick thier tongues out at me
"Oh yea...children" I say to Autumn and she shakes her head in agreement
