It all started in 1996 when father and son managers, Bob and Chris Herbert made headlines lookin' for younge talented male singers and dancers. The stage auditions were held all over England and Over 3000 wanna be pop stars showed up, but it the end it was no doubt that Abs, J, Scott, Sean and Rich and what it took! With everything that Bob and Chris had learned from other music acts that they had brought together then wanted to bring together a new and differnt boy act. They wanted a boy band with attitude and edge, and 5ive defintly had attitude and edge! And When Bob and Chris saw 5ive for the first time they knew they had it character wise and musically wise. Just days after the five gorgoues guys got togeter Bob and Chris moved them all to a house on the outside of London. The boys practiced day and night, and then finally they released there first single 'Slam Dunk (da funk)' Which landed them there first award 'Best New Band' at Smash Hits magazine awards. Soon after they released there second single 'When The Lights Go Out', which quickly rose to the number one spot on the charts. And from then on 5ive has been hittin' the charts all over the world and they will continue to release number one singles. There latest Single is 'Don't Wanna Let You Go', and There newest Cd Invincible Hits the American Billboard Charts and Number 108! Good for you lads!
