| ||Spike and Faith Story Arcs|| These are episodes and/or scenes where major turning points took place in Faith and Spike relationship. Check out the QUOTES page for dialogue from each scene. |
| (1) The first major turning point in their relationship would be when Spike first hears of Faith’s existence from Xander in Season 4: This Years Girl. Spike gets a decent description of her “Dark hair. Yay (Indicates) tall, name of Faith, criminally insane”, and then comments that he “likes this girl already”. (2) The next story arc would be the first time Faith and Spike encounter each other in Season 4 : ‘Who are you?’ while Faith had switched bodies with Buffy. They shared some steamy dialogue and one passionate scene. Although Spike is unaware that Faith is not Buffy, she (Faith) entices him menacingly, “I could have anything. (a beat) Anyone. Even you, Spike. (voice taking on a sultry tone) I could ride you at a gallop until your legs buckled and your eyes rolled up. I've got muscles you've never even dreamed of. I could squeeze you until you pop like warm champagne and you'd beg me to hurt you just a little bit more. “ – Faith to Spike (3) Four seasons later, or four years later. Spike and Faith meet face to face in season 7, episode: Dirty Girls. Faith has just arrived from LA and goes out to the graveyard to find Buffy and runs into Spike. They romp about, she thinks he’s still evil, this is the first time Spike see’s Faith. He recognizes her instantly. (4) Later in “Dirty Girls” Faith escapes the noisy Potentials by going down to the basement for a smoke. Spike is there SHIRTLESS on the bed. He asks to bum one and they engage in a long flirty conversation and get to know each other. Faith informs Spike about how she inhabited Buffy’s body during the body swap. They both discuss each other’s past and current situations. Definitely a major turning point in the relationship! Faith: I was thinking about looking up the guy with the bull whip….long incarceration. Spike: (smiles) You can do better. The school girl thing is old hat. Faith: Its all old hat man. Every guy’s got some wack fantasy. Scratch the surface of any granola type dude, tssst naughty nurses, and horny cheerleaders. I figure if you can’t beat em… Spike: Join em. Faith: Just don’t forget who’s on top. Spike: That I suspect would be you. They have wonderful chemistry and immense sexual tension. |
