Ann-Marie Johnson was a guest at the FanFest on Friday night
and I was thrilled to have been able to chat with her for a few
minutes. I have been a fan of Ann-Marie’s since I saw her
on “In the Heat of the Night.” Imagine my embarrassment when I
was telling her this and forgot the name of the show! She was a
great sport about it and reminded me of the name. I also
praised her comedy on the show “In Living Color.” She told me
that she actually got her start in comedy and loves doing it.
For instance, in a JAG episode during Bobbi’s date with
Sturgis, she falls as she is trying to sit on the floor at a
table in the restaurant. Ann-Marie herself added that funny
fall to the scene.
We all know how beautiful Ann-Marie looks on television, but
believe me she is even prettier in person. She is a friendly
person and really enjoyed being at the FanFest to meet the
fans. After seeing her interaction with the fans, I think they
enjoyed her being there just as much.
