The FANHS-SAN DIEGO Newsletter is funded entirely through through advertising revenue, subscriptions (free to members), donations and created through the hard work of volunteers.

We are always accepting submissions for articles, poetry, news and any other content related to the Filipino American experience which supports the mission statement of the Filipino American National Historical Society. VOLUNTEERS NEEDED
If you are FANHS-SD MEMBER interested in volunteering with the production, management and editing of the newsletter, please email FANHS-SD at fanhs18@yahoo.com. Currently, we rotate a team of dedicated volunteer members and are always looking for managing editors, editors, advertising directors and art directors. Please see below schedule for current positions open for future newsletters. Below are current descriptions for the various positions in producing the newsletter:

Editor: Oversees, selects and edits submissions of articles and all content in newsletter, coordinates with Managing Editor on available space for articles submitted, and works with Art Director.

Advertising Director: Provides main contact for potential and existing advertisers. Contacts prospective advertisers, and works in collaboration with Managing Editor.

Art Director: Provides graphic design and responsible for visual elements in design of newsletter.

Managing Editor: Centralizes and oversees the planning and coordination to meet FANHS-SD publication deadlines in collaboration with Editor, Advertising Director and Art Director, and keeping in communication with Chapter Officers for approval of Chapter-related issues. Ensures that newsletters kept within budget and composes layout for ad and article placements in collaboration with Editor and Art Director.

SUBSCRIPTIONS
A copy of the FANHS San Diego Newsletter is sent across the United States to each FANHS Chapter (20 other Chapters) and 27 National Trustees. FANHS San Diego "Paid Members" are guaranteed a copy. For a copy of the newsletter, FANHS San Diego accepts a $2 donation to help defray printing and mailing costs.

Subscription rates start at $10.00 for four issues. Please make checks payable to "FANHS SAN DIEGO" and mail to to P.O. Box 7135, Chula Vista, CA 91912. Receipts can also be made available upon request. Please note that an additional $10.00 charge will be placed on checks returned.

SUBMISSIONS
All submissions of articles and/or color copies (no originals) and ads can be mailed to P.O. Box 7135, Chula Vista, CA 91912 or electronic files emailed to fanhs18@yahoo.com and become the property of FANHS SAN DIEGO CHAPTER #18. For electronic files, please email fanhs18@yahoo.com for more information. Priority for publications is given to FANHS (San Diego) Paid/Active Members.
