Hello everybody! On May 2nd, 2004, I'll be heading down to Lake San Antonio in Monterey to complete my first triathlon. I still have a couple of pangs of trepidation when I think about those distances (those of you who have seen my healthy body recently might be a little worried as well :).

I will be doing this triathlon under the auspices of Team in Training (TNT), a group that helps people train for endurance events and also raises funds for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. All of us on TNT are raising funds to help stop leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin lymphoma and myeloma from taking more lives.

A number of my friends are TNT alums, and they've always encouraged me to go for it. I really feel fortunate that I am able to devote time raising money in support of very important cause, and, along the way, challenge myself.
