Presque Isle Good to Excellent Manitowish to Springstead to Flowage could use a grooming, NW of Flowage could use more snow and less logging.

Lots of fun & had to stand and steer by carving trail for about 10 miles..............WOW)

Much of senery better than I saw on two trips to West Yellowstone.

The trail drops approx. elev. 1200' to 600' going into Alma on a series of steep switchbacks)

Most trails in the open drifting severely and tough going with grooming doing little to no good . Trails in the Kettles very good in Sheboygan County and POOR (needs grooming) in Fond du Lac County. Sheboygan Marsh lots of snow and slush areas near St Cloud.
12/20/08 125 miles W of Fond du Lac - N Fond du Lac - Lake (Subway Rd to Minawa Beach)(Gas @ East Shore Minute Mart) - Silica - Johnsburg - St Cloud (Lunch @ Fat Boys - Greenbush - Long Lake - Waucousta - Campbellsport (Gas) - Eden - Peebles - Lake (Sandy Beach - Subway Rd) - N Fond du Lac - W of Fond du Lac Snow starting to set up a little. Conditions: Fair to Very Good. Most trails have and are being groomed but not holding up very long due to lack of snow stability. Eisenbahn Trail has many pretty bare areas.
12/19/08 103 miles - N Fond du Lac - Eldorado Marsh - Oakfield - Eden - Campbellsport (Gas @ Campbellsport Self Serve)- Dotyville - Peebles - on lake near shore to Wendt's - N Fond du Lac Lots of nice loose snow. Conditions - Poor to Good. Looks like Twin Oaks Trails groomed prior to thaw. Ruff Riders, Eden, most Campbellsport and SW of Dotyville groomed today but not holding up due to loose snow & drifting. RR Grades good riding put will not last long with riding mostly in center of trail.
