July 3 – July 5, 2004 – Home- New home, Sweet Home
          We have been thinking of buying a home and were on the look out for the last 4 months.
          Finally decided on buying one at the new community coming up at Torrance, CA –
          “The Woodbury”, developed by Taylor Woodrow Homes. The expected move-in date is
          around end of the year.

          We have to sign the lease on July 5 ‘04 and also decide on the upgrades and options
          that we would like in our new home by Jul 12 ‘04. We went to the design center on
          Jul 3 ‘04, even before we signed the lease and finalized our options.
          We signed the lease on Jul 5 ‘04 in the afternoon. That was a great sense of achievement
          for us. In the evening we went to Malibu Temple and thanked God, for making buying a
          home possible for us.

          Now we are eagerly awaiting two things – the arrival of our new baby and the move-in
          into our new home!!! This also means we have to shop around for two things – things
          for baby and things for the new home!!! Fun for me and FUNNNNNNNNNNN for Sathish.

July 19, 2004 – Happy Birthday to me !!!
          Today is my birthday. I turned 30 today .

          Today’s appointment with Jackie was at 4:00 p.m. Anirudh and I reached the hospital at
          3:30 p.m. The nurse did the routine tests. We met Jackie at 4:10 p.m. She mentioned
          that there were traces of protein in my urine and that my blood pressure was also
          little higher than the baseline. She said she was little concerned about the elevated
          blood pressure and would check that again, at the end. Then she said, she would do a
          quick ultrasound to see my baby. After the scan, she said that the baby is growing
          absolutely fine and that there is lot of fluid around the baby.

          I had a couple of questions, which we discussed and at the end, she called for the nurse
          to check my blood pressure once again. It turned out to be very normal.

          Jackie mentioned that, probably I was hurrying up while coming to the hospital and that
          could have been the reason for the blood pressure to be higher initially. And she also
          told me not to worry about the trace protein in urine. It could happen on and off during
          pregnancy.

          I got my next appointment slated for Aug 18 ‘04, with Dr. Lurvey.

          Anirudh and I then got back home. Since it was my birthday, my mother-in-law had made
          Carrot Halwa, while I had gone to the hospital. We all enjoyed that.

          We went out for dinner in the evening to Annapurna Cuisine of India and had a nice time there.
