Midnight Madness!

Midnight Madness is really Wednesday night in the second
week when all the vendors in the marketplace stay open until midnight to have a big sale. It also marks, however, the appearance of the beloved Don Giermo Bardicci, master of the Bardicci household, The Don.  It's customary for the Casa to escort The Don around the market so he can shop, visit friends, and stir up enthusiasm for the Hoity Toity Party the following night. It's really one of only two public appearances by The Don, and this year the Queen of the Bog sent an Entourage of guards to help do the escorting because we had had so much trouble with pirates and there was rumor of attempet assasination and kidnapping plots!
1. The Don, escorted by Dion and the Bog Queens Guards

2&3. this fellow popped up to entertain the Don, with his flaming helmet of doom or whatever it was, pretty neat. "only one eyebrow lost tonight... correction, one eyebrow and a sideburn!"

4. the Grinch, from Seven Leaves, came with some of his fellow pirates to help escort the Don after the Bog Queen's entourage was dismissed.
