I Ate the Mythology ... & Dreamt

You're here! The largest animal reserve on all of tyyra! And here's the front gates, but first this you suppose? The walls extend a bit further forward than you might expect, a small building blocking your path to get inside. The door though is open, and a second door is inside, you can see that much from where you stand. In with you, and from a desk straight afront comes the beginnings of what will be a rather long as well as one-sided conversation. "Welcome to you! This place is known as The Sanctuary. The owner and proprieter of this expansive reserve goes by the name of Mistress Feraldi, or less formally as Ferabird. Habitats here are somewhat expensively provided for every manner of creature that the Mistress comes across in her travels between worlds. Why do you look so confused? Oh- she's a world-hopper. She has a knack for locating those subtle shimmers of air that indicates a warp, and uses those to travel to other worlds. Nearly every time she does so, she returns with a small army of various friendly creatures. You can just imagine how much variation there is between so many beasts though, and so the Sanctuary was commisioned to hold each within their favored habitat. To the left is a list I've drawn up for you. Those are the various quadrants of the Sanctuary. Yes yes.. we know. There should only be four if they're called quadrants. The Mistress just likes the sound of the word. Anyways, within each quadrant is a series of habitats. You can select which habitat to visit from there. And if ever you become confused, simply return here. That's why it's first on the list, see? Now off with you. I know you didn't come here just to sit and chatter with me. Besides- I've paperwork to get to for the most recent acquisitions." With that you'll find yourself waved off, clutching the offered paper with directions to each of the quadrants. Out the second door you go, and the gates lay open before you....

Yes indeed, there -are- rules in this place. Remember that they are for the good of not only you, but the creatures that we keep as well.

1- Do not touch the animals. They are all here for a reason, and will not be leaving. Attempts to take them will be responded to quickly and severely. (aka these pictures are mine. All of them wer given specifically to me. They are not to be used on any pages besides my own.)
2- Respect their origins! Each of these creatures came from somewhere. And all of those somewheres should be noted. (In other words- if you would like crits of your own, follow the handy links. They should be included in the footer of any page containing or related to a singular type of crit.)

Just starting out kiddies! Heck, I'm amazed I've managed the first page without destroying the html! Now as time goes I'll get more and more pages completed. Please bear with me... I'm -terrible- at coding.
