The publication of
Miss Broadwood's Delight marks another important milestone for folk song in England.  At last, after many years when they were out of print, the important collection of folk songs originally published by Lucy Broadwood in 1908 is again on sale to the public.

Around the early years of the twentieth century many great collectors harvested English folk songs, and Lucy Broadwood (1858-1929) was one of the greatest of them all.
Miss Broadwood's Delight contains a total of 38 folk songs.  Twenty of these are from Sussex, 10 from Surrey, 2 from the borders between the two counties, and 6 from other English counties.

Miss Broadwood's Delight
, and its companion volume Sweet Sussex, are indispensable purchases for all lovers of folk song.
