this is non fiction... this is a collection of interesting/relevant performances and recordings--real pieces of the band's history...a kind of cross-referenced list of cool and important things!! looking for info about the last performance w/boris williams behind the drum kit, find a link here...different lyrics/performances of songs, check here for the information...and simon's "fuck robert palmer, fuck rock'n'roll!!" performance...it's non fiction!! --this is a "work in progress" kinda page, look for additions often-- looking for covers/b-sides/rarities find them here... what is robert singing?? early live/working versions of many "seventeen seconds" songs w/different lyrics "simon's twenty in half an hour..." so robert sings a different kind of "happy birthday" "this is going to be the bleakest set you've ever seen" as the lights go out in australia what are those songs?? early live/working versions of "the holy hour" and "primary"/"cold colours" "fuck robert palmer, fuck rock'n'roll!!" the band plays while robert palmer waits... what is this?? early live/working versions "the figurehead," "the hanging garden" & "one hundred years" "everyone looked at each other...and that was it" this might have been the end, simon leaves the cure... and now there are four?? simon is gone, but andy and phil play their first real show as members of the cure "look out! wild man in there!" andy plays his last show in japan after going on the rampage... "i'll wait for you where i always wait" lyrics from "2 late" worked into an older classic shelleyan orphan joins, roger o'donnell leaves roger plays his (then) last show, "forever" orphaned taping mtv unplugged it's not complete, but no-one has ever found the complete session... robert and simon caught together in a hotel room but it's just for a live call-in "loveline" broadcast one last wish the last wish tour show of 1992, the band says goodbye to porl... great xpectations the cure plays as a four-piece band, and boris eventually leaves--making this his last show not mtv unplugged but robert plays a few songs alone before a full swing tour performance in 1996 from "subway song" to "bare" (then encores) the cure history show w/two songs from each album after the promo show... robert and roger play around in the hotel konrad w/some fans "and this is for lol..." laurence tolhurst catches up w/the cure in los angeles in early 2000...
