Positive Mental Attitude

POSITIVE MENTAL ATTITUDE

I am a constant learner. I love to learn. It's been a long time since I was able to pick up a fictional novel and make it through it, excluding Harry Potter of course. I need to know that I will get something out of a book. I need it to invade my thoughts and wrap my mind up with knowledge. I want to know that if I apply what I'm learning that I will be a better person, at least better at being me.

Having a positive mental attitude is once again a tool in the brain game. It takes a lot of energy to always have a positive attitude. You need to exercise it just like we do any other part of us. Attaining a positive attitude falls under the category of the power of the subconscious mind. What you tell yourself today will determine your tomorrow. So what are you telling yourself? How do you see yourself? What do you see when you look in the mirror? Do you see that you are a gift, a miracle? Or are you the host of a pity party for one? How you look at yourself every day will decide where you finish. If you want to get better you will get better. Attitude is everything.

Your subconscious mind does not except negatives. If you are walking up to receive an award and in your head you are telling yourself, "Don't trip, don't trip, don't trip" Chances are, you'll trip. So you even have to watch what you think. Think positively. Working on a positive mental attitude needs to be done daily.

POSITIVE MENTAL ATTITUDE

How do we do this?

1. Always work on your brain.

Read good books (not the kill'em dead kind)
Listen to positive motivational tapes.
Don't hang around negative people.

2.Your only limitations are ones you put on yourself.
Your thoughts and feelings create your destiny.
Know yourself and get better.
Develop your gifts.
Choose your own greatness. (Skills can be learned. If you don't know, ask. Read up on it. Practice.)

3.Your behaviour today is going to dictate your tomorrow.
Act the way you want to feel and soon you will feel the way you act.
Walk talk and act like the person you want to become.
Embrace change.

4. Don't be a "BUT" head.
Everything you say before BUT is a lie.
BUT is an excuse.

I'd love to succeed but I'm too tired. IF you want to succeed there is no tired. Tired is just the excuse we tell ourselves so we don't feel guilty about what we said we'd get done.

The best gift you can give is yourself. You are so talented and you don¡¦t even know it yet. Thomas Edison said, "If we all did what we were capable of, we would literally astound ourselves."

(People look on the outside,God looks on the inside.)

You are the sum total of all your choices. Sometimes we feel like we weren't in control of any given situation. But we always have choices. It is your choice to get up every morning. It is your choice to go to work, eat good food, brush your teeth, or even be positive. There are situations that we do lose control, but that is only because we gave that control up as a result of the choices we made going into that situation. It is also your choice to be angry and bitter or hold grudges. It is also your choice to go home and reflect or say to yourself that girl has no clue about what "my" life is like.

Proverbs: As you thinketh, so shall you be.
Self worth comes from one thing: believing you are worth it.
