Family and
friends are desperately searching for seventeen year old
Anita Yvonne Gillispie missing from Taylors, South
Carolina since Tuesday, April 13, 2004. Anita was last
seen at approximately 3:00 AM on the morning of the 13th
walking towards the corner of East Lee Rd. and Edwards Rd. in
Taylors. The last time Anita was seen she was in a
distraught state.
Anita is in serious need
of medical attention for injuries sustained in an
automobile accident on January 24, 2004. After the
accident in January Anita’s doctor diagnosed her with
post-traumatic stress syndrome. Anita has been taking
medication for the post-traumatic stress, which she does
not have the medication with her.
Since the accident in
January Anita has been a homebound student through
Eastside High School.
Anita does not have any
form of identification with her. She left her glasses
behind, as well as other personal items.
Anita's family and friends
love her very much. They want Anita home with them. So,
please help them bring her home safe.

Distinguishing Characteristics:
Wearing a wrist splint
on her left wrist and walks with a severe limp due to a
metal rod in leg. Anita was seriously injured in an
automobile wreck in January.
Circumstances:
Unknown. Last seen walking up towards the corner of
East Lee Rd and Edwards Rd in Taylors, SC. Anita was
diagnosed with post-traumatic stress syndrome after the
accident and is on several medications, which she does
not have with her.
