There are more than 5oo canoe clubs in Italy, but few of them practice canadian canoeing.

Springtime is the best period to find water in italian rivers.

In summer the best choice is to paddle along the sea shore, especially the Adriatico, the East Coast.

The river Po is always navigable, from Pavia to the sea.

The river Ticino has a long section (110 km), from Maggiore Lake to river Po, which flows in a natural protected Park.
