| Movin' on Up Five Players from last years Championship team, hope to move up and play on either the JV of Varsity basketball teams, but for two returners, a different goal lies ahead. Borja Bagneta and Robert Premdas, are the only retuning members from last years Championship Team. They hope to keep up the winning tradtion, and so do the vetrans of the team. Sam Casey, a member of last years team said "I think they'll do well, they have a lot of work to do, to repeat, but with the right mindset and work ethic, they'll do well." He also noted "There are players that are hoping to move up this year to the A team, the only piece of advice I have for them is to stay focused. That's during practice and during games." We Are The Champions....... In an amazing victory over the ISB Raiders, the Warriors became the Middle School Basketball Champions. The final score of the games was 41 - 42 and the only time the Warriors led, was in the last 3 seconds. After the game, every body in the stands empited out onto the floor to celebrate. St. John's sit's down in Frankfurt What was thought to be a tough weekend was actually a surprise. Either St. John's was having an awful weekend or F.I.S. was having a great one. In the second game (41-29) Bob Groody (#14) and Sung Wu Hwang (#21) both had some amazing hook shots. For that game the leading scorers were: #13 Jason Jenkins: 10 pts. #21 Sung Wu Hwang: 10 pts. Warriors Sweep Hague On Friday and Saturday the Warriors beat the Hague Trojans. On Friday, the final score was 54 - 45. On Saturday, the final score was 39 - 34, with a hard fought las qurter. Warriors Sweep Munich The Warriors, played two very convincing games against Munich International School, pulling away with two victories. The Warriors came back in the first game to win 61 - 50. And in the second game, they lead in each quarter, and ended with a 53 - 44 victory. Munich International School On the Friday, 11 and Saturday, 12 January the Warriors will square off against Munich International School. The Warriors, who sturggled in the first two games of the season, rebouned to beat Kronbert, 63 - 46. Come out and support your Frakfurt Warriors!!!! Warriors over Kronberg As expected, the Warriors, soared to a convincing win over MTV Kronberg. Final Score: 63 - 46 Warriors Fall to 0-2 The Frankfurt Warriors lost twice to the International School of Brussels this past weekend, but the future looks better for the Warriors as they get ready to play MTV Kronberg on Wednesday at home. MTV Kronberg On the Wednesday, 12 December the Warriors will square off against MTV Kronberg. This is a schedule supplement that will be played as a regular season game.
