Here’s the deal:
- Random
movies will be selected from my DVD collection. (I have over 600 of them to
choose from) It could be comedy, horror, drama, cult, music, etc.
- E-mails
will be sent out at least 5 days in advance as to what movie
will be playing when. Usually more notice will be given.
- Adults
only.
- Only
invited people can attend, unless agreed on beforehand.
- Limited
amounts of beverages and food will be on hand. You are encouraged to bring
food or drink for yourself or to share with the group.
- Limited
seating is available. Get here early for best seating. If all seats are
taken, there is the floor.
- The
host always gets a comfy seat. (Sorry, my house)
- Movie
will start promptly at start time. No exceptions! Just like the movies
folks!
The Rules:
- Talking
is at a minimum, unless it’s a movie that encourages it. IE: Rocky Horror.
If you need to use a cell phone, please use the other room.
- My
house has pets and smoking. If either bothers you, take that into
consideration.
- The
title of the movie and brief description will be disclosed well in advance.
(see above) No bitching about what movie is playing. You have the option of
not coming that week. If you intend to ruin other people’s enjoyment,
exercise that option.
- Any
violation of any of the above rules can result in lack of notification of
upcoming movies. In other words, if you don’t see it listed in your
e-mail, don’t come.
This should be a fun experience for everyone. I’d like
this to be something to look forward to and unwind after the work week. Plus, we
get to see a bunch of movies with friends. And it gets us out of the house.
Movie requests are welcome! And all
will be considered.
