ES: Actually just "Mask" (laughs)
GC: Oh,right...

You've been nominated for a Tony and a Golden Globe. His newest film, Mr. Jealousy, opens in LA in June and closes the Los Angeles Independent Film Festival on Monday, April 20th. And he's here with us today. Hello Eric and welcome back to KCRW.
ES: Thanks. You guys really have done up the place nice.
GC: We really spruced it up for you.
ES: All that pledge money...
GC: That's right. Well...uh you know that's the magic of radio. No one really sees how glamorous...
ES: I think if people came down and saw the studio, they'd probably give more. Hmmm.
GC: Hmm. Well maybe we should take some pictures. There you go, send us a call. I know in your new movie, which I saw the other night, which I enjoyed very much...
ES: Thank you.
GC: There was a little tip of the hat to N.P.R. in there.

ES: (laughs) I am. I feel like a dope for saying it. But I do listen to your station.
GC: Why? Why do you feel like a dope?
ES: because I hate...You feel like you're shilling...
GC: (laughs)
ES: I listen to your stuff.
GC: Well , uh, we'll talk about the movie a bit but I...
ES: (impatiently)Let's play some music.
