First steps are removing everything you can from the car basically...I unbolted the air tubes and egr and completely removed the egr for the time being and put it to the side...dont loose the o ring thats on the egr.  Next was to undue and remove all of the plug wires...i removed all but the the pass. side rear one cuz my hands are just too fat to fitm but the manifold still came out with that there...dont forget to remove the oil dipstick & tube...i used a pair of locking vice grips and a door panel removal tool to shimmy the bottom of it out of the hole and then just pulled it out from the top...also i left the plugs in for manifold removal as they really didnt get in the way...all six bolts from the manifolds to the cats snapped off dont be worried though its actually easier to take them off this way as the entire exhaust will just hang free very quickly.
Here you can see the stock drivers side cat which they are very heavy...and realistically I'll probably save 10-20lbs of weight by doing this swap.
This is a comparison with the stock pass. side manifold to the new long tube...notice a slight difference? :)
