Is this where Folskpraak was born? A Look inside the Free City of Christiana
In 1971, when a swarm of hippies, squatters and political activists invaded an abandoned military base in the heart of Copenhagen (Denmark), few Danes believed the community would still exist today in 2002 - but it does, and thrivingly so.

It's quite likely, I sense, that our language - Folkspraak - was born there amongst a coterie of reefer-benumbed Bohemian philologists, linguists and idealists.  Here is a collection of links to some lovely website chronicling the history of the Free City of Christiana!
