Bill,

When I heard the news about Paul Krugman winning the Nobel for economics, I was not all that surprised when you consider the following.

Irena Sendler was born in Warsaw in 1910 and died there in 2008. During World War II, she helped rescue 2500 children from the Warsaw Ghetto. You can read her incredible story here. Some people are just so amazing that words cannot describe them.

There was widespread support for her to win the Nobel Peace Prize in 2007. But, no-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o! They ha-a-a-a-a-d to give it to Al Gore.

The Nobel prizes were already a fraud and a farce before the Krugman announcement.
