COMMENTS
The Queen class battle cruisers were one of the United Kingdom's
contributions to the UN capital ship program during the early years of the
Interstellar War era. With good acceleration, and some armor and the largest
spinal mount particle accelerator weapon available, it was a significant
opponent against other vessels. The inclusion of missile and plasma bays and
a laser battery gives this battle cruiser a wide variety of offensive options. Five
sand batteries and some armor give reasonable defence against most
opposition ships. As is common on fighting vessels, the quarters are somewhat
cramped, with all except the command level crew being two to a stateroom.
The Queen class battle cruisers are named for queens in UK history, with
examples including all the Marys and Elizabeths among others.
