Fredrick Alesna Boholst, aka "Ricric" holds a master's degree in Industrial/Organizational Psychology and a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology. He is an associate professor of psychology in the University of San Carlos (USC), Cebu City, Philippines and an Adjunct Professor at Lee Community College, Singapore. His research interests are in Scripts, Life Positions, Attachment, Positive Mental Health, and Performance Appraisal measures. Recently, though, he is dabbling in psychobiography. He is currently engaged in a research project on "Exemplary Cebuano Lives: Six Psychobiographical Presentations."
     He is a former chair of the Department of Psychology, USC, and the  vice chair of the Philippine Mental Health Association--Cebu Chapter. He is a clinical psychologist in private practice and a consultant to different Philippine companies and government organizations. He teaches behavioral statistics and research methods, psychotherapy, organizational behavior, and personality.
     He is married to Giselle and has two kids: Lennard Fredric and Fyodor Bastien. Aside from being a serious psychologist by profession, he is also a musician at heart. He plays the guitar, loves jazz and baroque music, and trains a choir - the Music Mosaic.
