| Magnum has been doing good. He hasn't been off his leg since the episode in December. The weather is beginning to warm up around here and, hopefully, it won't be too much longer before he can go swimming. He loves playing with his new "brother" Duncan. We've fenced in part of the yard to keep the dogs out of the road and they love running around the yard playing. One of them will grab a stick and the other will go try to take it away. It's so cute to watch them running around the yard both holding the same stick! I have been giving Magnum Certa-flx. It's much less expensive than giving the shots all the time and we have a long way to go with this arthrits. I also give him MSM in his food and vitamin E. Apple Cider Vinegar is supposed to be good for arthritis and many other things as well, so I put some in their water bowl. It also keeps their urine from burning the grass and turning it yellow. He seems to like laying in front of the fireplace, it probably feels good to his joints. He also spends a lot of time laying on the couch and that's fine with me. |
