We are 4 weeks post TPLO today! Yea! Magnum was more playful today than he has been since the surgery. He had his fuzzy octopus out so we were playing tug with him. We only played if he was laying on the floor. As soon as he got up or started using his legs to pull, we quit. He ripped off the remaining 3 legs and finally tore the "guts" out it. It was "stuffed" with a tennis ball so he still has a toy even though he destroyed the octopus.

Pepper got loose today. Someone forgot to lock the screen door after taking Magnum potty this morning. Usually he doesn't go too far and he shows up barking at the back door. Today he was nowhere in sight. Erica went down to the lake looking for him and Kurt started on our usual route when we go for a walk. Erica found him down at the beach. I guess he decided to take himself for a stroll along the beach. We haven't been walking since Magnum's surgery, maybe he misses his walks. I know he likes going down to the beach. He was all wet and sandy so Erica bought him home and gave him a bath.

Magnum finally pooped yesterday so he smells much better today and, I'm sure, he feels much better too.

We're anxious for a nice weekend day so we can take him down to the lake and let him go swimming.
