My Black & White Photo's!

These are a few of my black and white photos, of which I have a few hundred. These are some of the earliest and I'm in the process of posting some new ones. Some are good and others are not so good. A photo of the artist as a young man, lol I took this with my Nikon 35 mm using 400, though now I have a Kodak F600 with advantix and 400 is all I use. I'm looking to get the Sony Mavica Digital Camera. That camera is sweet!

My Shadow's I call these my shadow's, because I love the way I blend in with the surrounding greyness. I feel that it gives off an aura of mystery and darkness, while still maintaining a sense of style...err something like that. I also love the way my hands come out while the rest of me is shrouded in shades of grey. I have these two set up in black frames on my desk and when I feel like writing something dark and moody I use these as sort of muse's for my thoughts. look for some of my works or in other words some of my writings coming soon on my site.

This a picture of my dad, He's seated in his favorite chair which was a gift from his mom, my grandmother. He's a big guy and always has something on his mind, a great thinker. This pic is one of the good one's that I took at least in my opinion. I may add more photos to this site later. Thanks for viewing what little is here!

I know that most people would say that these aren't very good, but I beg to differ. Even if they came out not quite what I expected. I still like what I have created. Photography is an interest of mine and I will keep taking pictures, regardless.

Here's a couple more of my shadow collection, Titled "Everyone has a dark side" I know that sounds bad, but it's just a title, honestly! lol. I enjoy shooting black and whites, after shooting a few and taking some notes, I've realized that if you want a good photo, your going to need a well lighted area, especially a direct light on the intended subject. I'm not an expert, this is just a hobby that I enjoy and like to share. I hope your enjoying them.
