Hello and Good day!
In this section of my web I hope to give you a brief description of me, my life and the love I have of writing.  I am the 2nd oldest of eight children.  I have four brothers and 3 sisters.  Of course I am not a child any more and getting into my formative years (LOL) aged like a fine wine.  With the gracious blessing of having 5 wonderful  children Tina, Nichole, Larry, Edmund and Michael and then later on also being blessed with having to date 13 lovely grandchildren.  Family ties are very important to me and valued beyond words.   Both my parents Edmund and Eileen were a tremendous example to the inspiration of my understandings, truths and the very core of who I basicly have become, instilling old fashioned virtues and always encouraging me throughout my life.  I love them dearly and feel them ever near , watching over us always, special angel spirits to guide us.

I graduated from high school in 1970 and went on to be a working wife and mother through the years taking computer courses and writing poetry since I was a little girl.  Nature and Mother Earth play a main roll in my life next to my family and writing.   The love of writing poetry led me to competing in the International Society Of Poets early in 1988.  I continued to compete and I have been published in the following books:

1.) "
Selected Works Of Our Worlds Best Poets", John Campbell Editor and Publisher, copyright 1992,   Poem published "A Mothers Heart" written by: Jerre Gardner (my previous married name) ISBN 0-910147-21-3

The Bottle Cries" was also published through The International Library Of Poetry, written by: Jerre Marie Gostlin, ( I do not have this book at the present time to give the name , copyright date and ISBN number)

I had the pleasure of attending the International Poetry Convention in 2002 which was held in Florida at Disney world. It was a wonderful experience to attend and participate in this wonderful 3 day excursion to which I presented some of my poetry and received and was awarded a silver trophy "Poet Of Merit Award" and a bronze "Poet Of Merit Award" medallion.  I met many poets from all over the world, made new friends , exchanged ideas and thoughts and in turn shared my poetry and love of writing.  An experience I will never forget and always cherish.

There are many things I treasure.  First and foremost the love and time with family and friends.  I have found that the most simplest things are the most important.  My faith in our Creator God is always every present and has been a strong hold my whole life long. I enjoy walks along the beach, sunrises and sunsets, camping, fishing and every aspect of nature, I love playing music on the keyboard and although self taught I've learned I can make it sound close to the tune LOL>>.  I dabble in making crafts when time allows and most of all I  appreciate each new day and each and every blessing along my life's  way , truly there are many and I treasure each as gift..  My most favorite saying is "L I V E"   LIVE.... otherwise you've got nothing to talk about in the locker room!!!

In my writings and building this web site it was my purpose to share my feelings, thoughts , ideas and understandings with those who choose to venture in and read my writings and .........

That in doing so in some small way
It has made a difference in your day..
