NANA'S BOY It was one year ago today you came into my life Nana's boy so perfect in a world so full of strife Nana's boy so handsome with tiny hands and feet Your little nose and patch of hair no joy could er'e compete I walked up to your bed put my fingers in your hand "Hello Little One" I said you smiled I felt so grand As Nana watched you lying there in the nursery The tenderness of Gods love was you in front of me Nana call Nana I would ask you to say Nana you said out loud what a very special day Soon you were walking nothing would hold you down If it was there you'd look at me see Nana what I have found Nana's boy I love you more than I could ever say Your growing, learning, precious as God planned in every way |
