SIRMARIAN 2001-2002 Preview:
Introduction: Well the time is finally here, the Wild's and Marian's second year in the NHL. Last year he was top-scorer on the team, he scored the first goal for the team, and started the season with a flury of scoring. Can he do it again? He was and still is the Wild player with the most potential. Marian, Version 2.0, is about to be released, get your copy at your local TV set or XCel Energy Center. The Star Tribune reported that his english linguistics have gone up considerably, so that means Marian now has the tools to be a vocal leader. "Get out of my face, biyaaaatch", he'll yell at Mike York (see F+L list for explanation), next time they face the NY Rangers. Perhaps this season we'll see Marian with an "A" or "C" sewn on his sweater. Probably not, but we here at SirMarian are not used to living up to expectations anyway. For instance, we have never changed this site's background, because we are simply too lazy to do it. In website personnel news: Kyle is in London, but we'll back in mid-december in time to catch the bulk of the season. Tim is chillin' at the U (MN) and has a cool apartment with a huge TV. Kyle's London flat has a small 13-inch TV, but then again, Kyle has never been concerned with aesthetics. Gaborik news: We don't know much about THE MAN, but we assume that he chilled all summer, played some hockey, macked on some ladies, maybe bought a house in MN, and watched Family Guy every week. Being in London, Kyle gets to see Ferrari's on a regular basis, but if you are in MN and you see one, there is good change that Marian is behind the wheel. "I am not a huge fan of the St. Paul Police Department", Marian said at his latest press conference, "I think we should still keep the SPPD around, don't get me wrong, I just wish that they could leave me, my Ferrari(s) and the road to myself, ya know?", yeah Marian, we know, I hate when myself and the (Grand) Am get busted for speeding down 35E. Marian scored in his first full practice game back after hernia surgery. We hope that he will be taken off the injured list before the October 6th opener in San Jose. "Cali, here we come!", Marian said as he exited the press conference area and screeching tires of a Ferrari were heard seconds later. Other news: Tim and Kyle spent some time in New York City this summer, just chillin' and visiting family. Kyle also went to Los Angeles to check out the weather and babes before hittin' up England for the fall. Enjoy the new season and root for the Wild! |
