Jacob (Jake) Hopp was born December 17, 1908 Alto, Fond du Lac County, Wisconsin, and died March 20, 1986 St. Agnes Hospital, Fond du Lac County, Wisconsin.  He married Gertrude Pluim PRIVATE.  She was born PRIVATE. Child of Jake Hopp and Gertrude Pluim is: Junice Mae Hopp, born PRIVATE.

The Leader News-March 25&26, 1986: Mr. Jacob (Jake) Hopp, 76, of 613 Pioneer Ave., Waupun died Thurs, evening, March 20, 1986 at St. Agnes Hospital in Fond du Lac. Mr. Hopp was born on Dec. 17, 1909 in Alto, the son of Henry Sr. and Elizabeth Van Buren Hopp. He married the former Gertrude Pluim on Aug. 29, 1934 in Waupun. The couple have resided in Waupun all their married life where Mr. Hopp was employed by Libby-McNeil-Libby and later at the Waupun Utility Company where he retired in 1974. He was a member of Emmanuel Reformed Church in Waupun. Survivors include his wife, Gertrude; one daughter, Junice Landaal of Morris, Ill; four grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; one brother, Mr. Henry Hopp of Waupun; one sister, Mrs. George (Lydia) Asmus of Waupun. He was preceded in death by three brothers. Funeral services were held on Mon., March 24 at Emmanuel Reformed Church. The Rev. Louis Buytendrop officiated. Burial followed at Forest Mound Cemetery in Waupun. Werner-armsen Funeral Home, Waupun, was in charge of all arrangements.
