DAVID WINDSOR

A member of ASCAP since 1998, David co-owns Backroom Recording with his wife, Tessa.  David Windsor is a highly accomplished musician living in Bristol, Tennessee.  You can purchase his new CD, "TESSASMED" online at CDBABY.COM which will be available March, 2007.

He is a keyboardist/vocalist and songwriter whose voice has often been compared to John Cougar and Don Henley.

David's musical endeavors have taken him from the small town pubs of the Tri-cities, to larger venues in South Carolina and Nashville, Tennessee.  He has co-produced albums and has recorded on many projects while logging countless hours in some of the best studios in the southeast.  His music ranges from current top 40's such as Usher and Maroon 5, heavy R & B, to classics from the Beatles, Marvin Gaye, the Temptations and Stevie Wonder.

David uses Korg and Roland keyboards, each with 16 track sequencing capabilities for a total of 32 tracks playing simultaneously.  This allows him to produce that "full band" sound with only two keyboards and minimal set-up time.  Rarely do you find artists attempt songs like "Time" and "Us and Them" by Pink Floyd using only keyboards.

Having been introduced into a unique circle of musicians, including John Tesh, James Ingram, Brent Bougerois, and A & R manager Tony Smith, David has written and copyrighted a number of songs and has two commercial jingles to his credit.  In 1989, he wrote "Here in the Dark" which received local radio airplay.

His music seems to appeal to everyone, from the young to the young at heart.  Come enjoy the music.....the way you remember it!
