CURRENT GUIDING
Below (on the left) is the uniform I wear as a Young Leader.  As a Young Leader, I attend the weekly Guide meetings and act as an assistant leader.  I am currently working on the Leadership Scheme, which, on completion, will make me a fully warranted Guide Guider (pictured below on the right).  I believe this will be useful to me in the future as well as the present, and I enjoy being involved in the Guide Movement.
As well as attending the weekly meetings, I regularly attend trainings and district events, such as dinners and other social events.  Our trainings are designed to teach us, as leaders, skills and knowledge that will be useful in running the Guide unit.

We currently meet on a Tuesday night between 5.45pm and 7.15pm.  In this time, we do various activities and games.  We usually have patrol time, when the individual patrols do their own activities, and then Company time which can include many activities from clay models to trefoil work, and from treasure hunts to planning a special Thinking Day Service held in the local church on Sunday 20th February 2000.  We also held a Coffee Morning on 26th February 2000 to raise money to cover the cost of the census.  We have just come back from an indoor camp, where the theme was The Oscars.  We all thoroughly enjoyed the weekend, and there will be more information on the
