Paper Mario may look like a kids game, but i found that it wasn't
all that bad. It may not have alot of depth into it like FF
series but it's a pretty good game. This game is similar to it's
prequel Super Mario Rpg for the SNES. The battle system is very
similar, but has a side view instead of a top left view. I found
this game could have been alot better if they would have changed
some things. For instance, only one party member can be in battle
with you a a time, but you can change them with a push of a
button. Also your party members don't play a big role in the
story, they just sort of follow you around and fight with you.
In PM, you can use the character you have out at that time to
help you do things, like the Flying Koopa can fly you to places,
or the Koopa can be shoot at things that are unreachable. I
won't say this is a bad game, but I didn't get really hooked on
it. If you are looking for a true RPG with lots of character,
spells weapons you might want to wait until Aidyn Chronicles: The First Mage.

Graphics
The background is VERY nice, but the 2D characters don't fit in
well. They are well drawn but if they were 3D this i would have
given this a 9.5!

Sound
Although the sounds are good, but the music may seem a little
childish. What i found most anoying has the sound that the
letters make when they apear in the message box.

Controls
Fairly simple controls, easy to use, but i found it hard
sometimes to select things like talking to some one or hitting a
block.

Fun
This game is fun, but not as fun as i though it would have been.
Unlike it's prequel PM is not a game were you really want to play
it non stop.
