Gamma Phi Beta is proud to announce that we have adopted Camp Fire USA as our International Philanthropy! As camping has always been a theme in most of our events, we are excited about this new opertunity to expand internationally in our efforts. Our members will now have the wonderful oppertunity to actually work at Camp Fire USA camps, and many of our fundraising projects and philanthropy activities thoughout the year will go to benefit Camp Fire USA. In 2003, the Komen Foundation celebrated the 20th anniversary of the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation Race for the Cure, the largest series of 5k runs/fitness walks in the world. Nearly 1.4 million people are expected to participate in more then 100 races in 2005. The DMAC Chapter of Gamma Phi Beta will be participating in the walk on June 11th at Comerican Park.
