LINKS
Philippine music and culture is a varied cornucopia of sights, scenes and colours.  The following websites come highly recommended.  Do drop by and take a look.

SHEILA AND THE INSECTS.  One of the best-kept secrets of Cebu, Sheila and the Insects' debut album under N/A Records is edgy guitar-laden pop.  Think Third Eye Blind meets Matchbox Twenty with an interesting Pinoy twist.  Delicious from the get-go.

RIVERMAYA
Rivermaya.  Need I say more?  If Rico, Marc or Nathan  ever grace mere madness, I would flip.

BANDA BANDA.  I can't say that mere madness even wants to become the second-rate Banda Banda. It would be nice.  A great site for all you independent music lovers out there.

N/A RECORDS.  The motherload of indie music.  Signed up Cynthia Alexander, Sheila and the Insects and Makiling Ensemble, among others.  Headed by King Gerry Kaimo.  I am not worthy.

BARBIE'S CRADLE.  I love.   I love.  I love.  Remember: "Music From The Buffet Table" is one of the best albums of 2000, and the band is one of the best groups.  Ever.  I love.

PHILMUSIC.COM.  The granddaddy of all Philippine music web sites.  Not quite mainstream, not quite alternative, but definitely the best place to go for that first dose of Pinoy tunes.  Yowzah.
