Wendy's Quiche -- Wendy Gilbert
Form a ready-to-bake crust to the bottom of a pie pan. 
Place 1 Cup of shredded Swiss, cheddar or chef’s preference of cheese as the bottom layer.  Add filling that you have pre-cooked till just tender.
Cover with egg custard.  Mix and bake in a 350 degree oven for 30 - 45 minutes. 
When finished, I add shredded cheese for topping and then cool.  Filling can be bacon, ham, Canadian bacon, turkey, sausage, etc., onions, mushrooms, broccoli, etc. cooked in saucepan until tender.
Egg custard is 3 - 5 eggs (depending on size of pie plate) and ¾ - 1 Cup of milk blended together.
When done, remove from oven, top with shredded cheese and let stand for 10 minutes before eating.
