In addition to our philosophy, we will also adhere to the following:

Individuality, creativity and self-acceptance will be encouraged:
Children will have many opportunities to express themselves in many forms of play and group activities. Cooperation and personal achievement will be stressed, rather that competition.

Varied experiences will be offered:
Children will have the opportunity to participate in many different activities. Activities such as crafts, circle time, dramatic and gross motor play will be incorporated into each daily program plan.

Adherence to the policies and guidelines of the centre:
All staff and parents will be encouraged to follow appropriate guidelines for behavior. Policies will be made available to all parents and staff by the Director of the centre.

Equity will be encouraged:
The centre values its commitment to the principles of equality and social justice. Children will be encouraged to learn about accepting all people. No child, parent or staff member shall be discriminated against by the centre on the basis of race, gender, age, creed, political or religious affiliation, marital status or sexual orientation.
