What
was so cool about the late Seventies?
Pac-Man, CBs, chest hair, medallions, chain steering wheels, customized
vans, long hair, tight jeans, Trans Ams, etc. If it was tasteless, it
belongs in the Seventies. Of course, nothing could be as cool as the
Eighties, but the late Seventies was like the Eighties' dad when he was
cool. Sure, they didn't have Morpheus and everyone had VD (that's
Seventies talk for STDs), but hey, they had fun! Most importantly, the
late Seventies laid the groundwork for the coolest decade ever, making
it cool in itself.
