1. We believe the Holy Bible is the inspired Word of God and contains all things necessary for salvation. It is to be received as the true rule and guide for faith and practice.
2. We believe there is only one God, who is the creator and preserver of all things. And in the unity of this Godhead there are three persons, of one substance, power, and glory: the Father, Son, and the Holy Spirit.
3. We believe Jesus Christ is the eternal Son of God, in Whom both divine and human natures were perfectly joined. Through the power of the Holy Spirit He was born of the Virgin Mary. He was crucified, dead, and buried, to reconcile us to the Father. Christ truly did rise from the dead and ascended into heaven to take His seat at the right hand of God, where he now makes intercession for us until He returns to judge all persons at the last day.
4. We believe all persons stand under the righteous judgment of Jesus Christ, both now and on the last day. We believe there will be a resurrection of the dead, both of the just and the unjust. All will stand before the judgment seat of Christ; the righteous will be rewarded with eternal life and the unrighteous with eternal punishment.
5. We believe all mankind is fallen from righteousness and is thus lost in sin and totally helpless. Without God’s grace a person cannot do good works acceptable to God.
6. We believe Christ’s offering on the cross was sufficient to redeem all mankind from sin. We are justified only for the merit of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, by faith.
7. We believe that unless a person is born again, he cannot see the Kingdom of God. Regeneration is the renewal of person in righteousness through Jesus Christ, by the power of the Holy Spirit, whereby we are partakers of the divine nature and experience newness of life.
8. We believe the goal of God’s salvation in the life of the Christian is good works, and service for the glory of God. Sanctification is the work of God’s grace through the Holy Spirit, to enable us to live holy lives unto the Lord.
9. We believe there are two sacraments ordained by Christ: Baptism, and the Lord’s Supper. These are symbols and pledges of the Christian’s profession and of God’s love toward us. They are also a means of grace by which God works invisibly in us, giving life, strengthening, and confirming our faith in him.
10. We believe the Christian Church is the community of all true believers under the Lordship of Jesus Christ. It is that fellowship where God’s Word is preached and the sacraments rightly administered. The Church exists for the maintenance of true and spiritual worship, the edification of believers, and the redemption of the world.
