A

the conditions, one of the apple garden owners, Haribagio from Kusuma Agrowsata
said, "Were confious if to much guests, because it means the apples in the
garden will decreased to much". In the weekend, Haribagio said the 150 room
is fully booked, the guest is much from affordable
peoples at Surabaya (70%) and the rests is from Jakarta,
Malang, Brunei, and Malaysia. Generally the guest visit with a family, a
family picnic that cant get in town.
After
Kusuma Agrowisata successed to "abrakadabra"
a rocky hill became an apple garden and hotels, so the Batu area is opened to an
investor. Now in the area there already not less of 80 hotels and homestays,
with capacity of bedrooms about 4,200. A fantastic area for 15,137 ha. From
colonials past ages, Batu is well known as Klein
Swistzerland or small Swiss. It started when a Hollanders, De
Ruyter Dewiledt builded a Selecta resthouse. So as a tourist area Batu is
a historic place.
