singer Jonatha Brooke once said "if you'd do it anyway, why would you do it for love?" A beatiful sentiment...there are so many simple things people can do every day for each other just because it's the right thing to do, but love should affect you to do great things. With that said, Dan and I offer our Valentine's Day genopool. This month we decided to go to a nice romantic place. "a strip club, gene?" No dan, better..."oh, a massage parlor!" No dan! Where else would we find the single and slightly bitter? We're goin' to the place that put the "VD" in Valentines Day...Porky's to see the mosh band "Gangsta Pump!" So, with apologies to jonatha, maybe Kid Rock did say it best "now get in the pit, try and love someone!"

How do you feel about being single on Valentine's Day?"

"it's the same as being single on any other damn day!"

-so much anger, i'll bet she's never missed a Lillith Fair.

"If you have to make a big deal on Valentine's Day, then you're not doing enough the rest of the year"

"i'd rather be single than be with guys who buys me something just because it's Valentines Day!"

"It's actually more work when you're single, you have to choose a single date"

-Talk about a close call, i almost wore my safari hat to the bar!

It's all hype. You should love somebody everyday of the year, not just Valentine's Day"
