There are two kind of fusions: through
Fusion
Dance or through Potara earrings.
| Fusion Dance |
| This version of the fusion was invented by
the people of planet Metamor. |
- The two performers of the dance must have
the same size and the same power level.
- The dance must be performed correctly or
else the fighters will still fuse but instead
of making a stronger fighter they'll make
a weaker one.
- The fusion will last 30 minutes after which
the two will split again; there
seems to
be no way to end the fusion
before that time.
- After the fusion ends the two performers
must take one hour to rest
before they can
perform fusion again.

As a result the two fused fighter will be
a lot stronger and
they'll be wearing new clothes (probably
Metamor clothes): |

| Potara Fusion |
| This version of the Fusion was invented by
the Kaoiushins. |
 |
- The performers must possess a pair of Potara
earrings.
- They must wear the earrings on opposite
ears.
- Once they wear them the hit each other and
fuse.
- This kind of Fusion can be performed just
once in a lifetime since it's supposed to
be permanent.

As a result the two fused fighters will be
a lot stronger
and their clothes will be a mixture of their
preceding ones: |
