One more drink and I gotta go...
Fun Activities
Earth & Space Science Sites
- My father and I spent many years working at
Kennedy Space Center
and so I have developed quite an interest in the space program.
- Check out
NASA Watch
for an unbiased look at what's going on with the space program.
-
A great repository of space news and videos can be found at
Spaceflight Now.
-
The Solar System
is a good place to go to check up on what's happening with our nearest
celstial neighbors.
- Another really neat resource I have found is the
NASA Human Spaceflight Page.
If you go to the
SkyWatch
section, you can find the next time you can see man-made objects zipping across
the sky in your area.
Fishing and Diving Sites
Weather Sites
Cycling Sites
- The local bike club is the
Brevard Bicycling Coalition.
The more casual rider might be more interested in the
Spacecoast Freewheelers.
Although primarily a roadie, I do occasionally enjoy going
off-road, especially hash rides. The best local source for hash info is the
Space Coast Biko Psycos,
a drinking club with a cycling problem. If you attend any of the
events, tell them Microsoft sent you. I have an online album with some of my better
hash ride pictures.
-
Velo News
is the spot for national and international news.
