Hose Obstacle Course
 

Equipment Needed:  6 - 50’ lengths of 1 1/2” hose

                                    1 - 1 1/2” adjustable nozzle

                                    4 - 55 gallon barrels 

Fire Gear Needed:   Helmet and Boots 

Number of People:    Five (5) 

Object:    To Maneuver 300’ of charged 1 1/2” hose line around and through 4 barrels and knock over two cones outside barrels two and three. Knock a barrel over and receive a two (2) second penalty.  Hose not around a barrel will result in a disqualification.  One person is required on the nozzle. 

Start at barrel one and go around barrel two then back around barrel one to form a figure eight, go from one around barrel three, from barrel three go around barrel four, from barrel four go between barrels two and three and knock over two cones. The hose is charged when the whistle is blown.
