After eight agonising weeks waiting for the Coroner's report, as to why Levi died (when he wasn't even ill), I was fortunate to get an answer - Pneumococcal Pneumonia. This is a bacterial infection of the lungs that, as in this case, often doesn't display any other symptoms other than a temperature and can very quickly become fatal. The most frightening thing about this infection is, that you catch it as easy as you catch a cold, via a 'bug' in the air.

I am so relieved to have gotten an answer, and sympathise greatly with SIDS parents, who don't ever get answers. Profits from the sale of this book will go to SIDS Research at The Children's Hospital at Westmead (Sydney, NSW), so that maybe one day all parents will get answers.
