Arthur Gilbert

Arthur Allison Gilbert, 48, of 405 Penarth Drive, Berea, an employee of W. R. Grace & Co., husband Elizabeth Brown Gilbert, died Wednesday.
A native of Greenville County, son of W. Marvin and Lila Poore Gilbert of Greenville, he was a veteran of World War II and a member of Hampton Park Baptist Church.
Surviving also are three daughters, Vicki G. Bayne, Kathy G. McBride, and Melissa Gilbert of Greenville; a son, Scott Gilbert of Greenville; a brother Kennedy Gilbert of Greenville; and two grandchildren.
Services will be Friday at a place and time to be announced.
The family will receive friends at Thomas McAfee Funeral Home from 7-8:30 p.m. Thursday.
