Mrs. Annie B. B. Gilbert

    Mrs. Annie Bell Brooks Gilbert of 13 Henry Street, Dunean mill died at a local hospital yesterday morning at 7:45 o'clock.
     Mrs. Gilbert was born and reared in the Sandy Springs section of Anderson county and was Miss Annie Bell Brooks before her marriage.  Ten years ago, she came to Greenville and had lived with her family in the Dunean community during the last seven years.
     She was a member of Lebanon Baptist church of Anderson county.
     Her husband, J. Marlor Gilbert survives her together with three daughters, Louise, Sybil and Evelyn Gilbert and two sons, Charles and William Gilbert of Greenville.  She is also survived by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. W. B. Brooks of Central; three sisters, Miss Lola Mae Brooks, Greenville and Misses Elizabeth and Willie Lee Brooks, of Central and four brothers, John and Amos Brooks of Central; Jason Brooks, Clausa, Calif., and Ernest Brooks, Pendleton.
     Funeral servies will be held at Dunean Baptist church this afternoon at 3:30 o'clock, the Rev. J. A. Cave officiating and assisted by the Rev. W. H. Brown.  Interment will be in Lebanon church cemetery in Anderson County.
     The following were requested to serve as pallbearers: C. L. Tyner, E. E. Mullinax, W. L. Sorgee, A. J. Thackston, E. J. Bishop and S. A. Cox.
     Flower girls will be Misses Pearl Foster, Louise Harbin, Evelyn Enloe, Ruby Henderson, Thelma Hawkins and Virginia O'Shields.
     The body is at the residence in the Dunean community awaiting the hour of the service.
