GTCA Customs, The Gillig Transit Coach/PacificSchoolcoach Resource and TruckCentral64Toys is pleased to announce that we're working on a diecast Gillig replica in 1:64th scale.
The model will be molded out of diecast metal and plastic and will be finely detailed, down to every seat and every dashboard component. We're putting the feelers out so to speak, and hopefully this will turn into a lucrative venture for all Gillig fans alike!
Some of the finer details we're hoping to include are:
Real Gillig-like characteristics (placement of headlights and other equipment)!!
Opening doors, and luggage compartment!!
Detachable body to show interior detail!!
Finely detailed dashboard and stepwell!
Fully customizable lettering (example: your school district name and your own bus number)!!
Embossed features like the Gillig emblem, the rubber fender trim, and the actual Gillig rubrail pattern, instead of decals!!
Fully opening stop paddle!
And more!!
We're hoping for a 1000-2000 unit production run, and selling them roughly between $20-$35 per replica.
