Only One Mother

Hundreds of times you tidy my toys
Hundreds of times you tidy my room
Hundreds of times you buy me McCoy’s
Hundreds of times you sweep with a broom

Hundreds of times you take me to school
Hundreds of times you gel my hair
Hundreds of times you take me to the pool
Hundreds of times you take me to the lamas fair
But only one mother to love and care

Stone Age Settlers

Michael, his brother John and I went to the hidden village. We played hide and seek. There were old houses and hedges. We hid behind stones and we saw something shiny in the ground. It was weird. His brother couldn’t see us so we thought it was a good hiding spot. We tried to pull out the shiny thing but we couldn’t. Then we saw a person carving flints. He had long greasy, scruffy hair. His top was made out of animal skin. It was short and knee length. We were laughing our heads off. We hid behind a hedge and followed him. When he stopped he went into a hut. It looked like it was made out of animal skin and wood. We saw a little boy. He looked like he was my age. I went over to him. He talked in a weird voice. I said do you want to come to my house instead? It seemed he didn’t understand. Then I waved my hand so he could follow. When we got back to Michael’s house we put him under Michael’s bed in the drawer. We had to pull out all the toys to make room for him. Michael’s mum came up and she pulled the drawer out and she said ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh! WHO IS THIS? It, it, it’s a Stone Age person. GET HIM OUT ! O, o, o, ok said Michael. We took him down to the rocks and we brought him some chicken down to him. He ate with his hands and he drank his milk in about 1 minute. Then we decided to bring him back to his home so we brought him back up to his family. His family chased us down the fields. We never went back up there again.
